This miniature is of the ancient Celtic Cross, called St. John's Cross. The original stood almost 15ft high and was carved around the mid 8th - 9th Centuries A.D. From the eight original fragments of the stone a replica can be seen at Iona Abbey, Argyll-shire.

Made of cast plaster with slate effect finish.
